Hey there! Growing up, I had my fair share of babysitters. There were the ones I dreaded coming over to my house and the ones I looked forward to spending time with. The ones I was always excited to see had certain traits in common. They were all fun while being responsible; kind and gentle while holding appropriate boundaries with me; and respectful of me as a person (rather than as a child to be talked down to) while seeking mutual respect from me in return. Since becoming a babysitter, myself, I have strived to exemplify these qualities with every child in every family I babysit and nanny for. I am fun-loving, responsible, kind, gentle, boundaried, and respectful, and I look for these same things in the children and teens I work with. I am also reliable, committed, and flexible.
