I am a highly trained, self- motivated, open-minded and hardworking caregiver with over 10 years of experience in working both privately with clients as well as in various well-known senior living facilities in the Maryland and New York area. I have worked, supported and assisted seniors and persons with intellectual and developmental and I believe the passion, dedication, respect, empathy and high-level skill are assets that make me an ideal candidate as they form the foundation of quality care. My experience of raising and caring for my multiply disabled son who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 4 months and is now 19, has inspired and strengthened my desire to help those who aren't fully capable to reach their highest potential in all areas and stages of life. I have worked with a 35-year-old female with down syndrome for over 1 year and in Memory Care Unit I am currently completing a practical course to qualify as Geriatrics Nursing Assistant (GNA) in early March 2019.
