Hi! I'm Izzie! I am the oldest of six kiddos, one of whom has special needs. Having watched my younger siblings follow my example, I have realized the impact caretakers can have on development, and strive to model patience, kindness, graciousness, and a curious, adventurous spirit! My little sister was born with a genetic disorder that has caused her significant learning, speech, and motor disabilities along with epilepsy (SLC6A1-Related disorder.) My love for special needs kiddos and my pursuit of Psychology and Neuroscience along with Music has been largely shaped by her! She is such a gift, and walking through some of her therapies with her, helping her cook, and watching her bless her community amidst her struggles has been such a joy.
