Hi! I'm Izzie! I am the oldest of six kiddos, one of whom has special needs. I believe that kids have so much to share with the world because they approach relationships with curiosity and honesty, and I have learned so much by being around them. I am passionate about creativity, life-giving ideas, learning, and having fun! I have been known to bring my guitar to babysitting jobs to write songs, read aloud while coloring, spontaneously bake cookies or crackers, or take nature walks to find birds and flowers. Having watched my younger siblings follow my example, I have realized the impact caretakers can have on a child's development, and strive to model patience, kindness, graciousness, and a curious, adventurous spirit! From a practical standpoint, I grew up overseas where we cook and bake everything from scratch. I am comfortable juggling a baby and several toddlers while making lunch, love leaving spaces more beautiful and organized than I found them, and am comfortable saying no.
