About Isabell

Hello! My name is Isabell and I have been tutoring for over 2 years. I have had experience working with children for over 6 years through babysitting and camp counseling. My tutoring experience first started at The Mathnasium Learning Center where I was promoted to Lead Instructor. In this position, I was responsible for tutoring students ages four to 15, effectively communicating with the students's parent's, and keeping record of the students' academic progress. I am also a tutor at Raising a Village in Washington, DC. As a tutor for Raising a Village, I support students ages five to 10 in English and Literature skills. I also collaborate with the students' teachers to create a lesson plan that is best suited for their individual learning styles. Since this is a Federal Work Study position that I continue during the academic year, beginning in August, I am interested and available in tutoring students this summer while I am on break.
