About Isabella

Isabella S. was our afterschool nanny/household manager for the past '23-24 school year and full-time for the subsequent summer. Her primary responsibilities include picking up our son from junior kindergarten and occasionally watching our toddler as well as light housekeeping duties. She is extremely energetic and creative and engaged in active play with the kids, whether it was playing with cars, legos, dance parties, playing tag on the playground, puzzles or imaginative play,. She and my son made frequent trips to the library and introduced him to new series and audiobooks. During the summer, one of her responsibilities included picking up my son from summer programming. As they needed to take public transportation, Izzy would look up additional interesting places to visit such as a different library or park. Izzy demonstrated outstanding communication skills with us and with our children. For example, she consistently helped our son work through issues. of anger, sadness, and frustration in healthy ways. She brings a maturity and natural warmth with children beyond her stated years of experience. She sought feedback about her interactions with the kids. Izzy also performed light housekeeping duties including grocery shopping, meal preparation, organizing the kids' stuff, and the kids' laundry. She was consistently on time and often arrived early to work. Izzy’s frequently worked extra holidays or weekends to accommodate our work schedules. She felt like part of the family but always professional. We could not recommend her more highly as a nanny.
