I'd describe my personality as fun, caring, and supportive I like working with kids because I'm a psychology major at UH Manoa and I believe that early childhood is a vital time in a persons life and I want to set up future generations for success I'm looking for a job that is flexible, doenst have late hours, and has a relatively calm environment Since high school I have worked with children in a babysitting environment and also as a preschool teacher for a time. My current job as the Children's Program Specialist for the Institute for Human Services at the Ka'aahi women and family shelter has also furthered my abilities with child care and education. In my spare time, I like to rollerblade, surf, hike, go to the beach and spend time with friends and family One thing you should know about me is that I enjoy arts and crafts and would love to engage with children that way! My skills include adapting to each situation, being attentive, and having patience and understanding.
