Experience: 3 yrs
I worked as a behavioral therapist for children with autism for three years and was also a nanny prior to college. During my jobs, I worked with children ages 1-17 years old, and my responsibilities included teaching communication skills, assisting with homework, aiding with self care, and more. In college, I worked as a research assistant in a lab dedicated to social emotional learning and wellbeing in schools. I also volunteered as a student teacher at underprivileged schools, and was then hired to mentor other student teachers. I graduated UCSD with a bachelor's in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Educational Studies.
Mrs. Isabella has been with our family from November 2025 to May 2026 taking care of our 9 yr and 5 yr old boys and she is, without a doubt, the best helper I've ever had. She helped us with school pick-ups and drop-offs, laundry, dishes, cleaning, and keeping the house running smoothly. What really stood out was how proactive she was. If she noticed something that needed attention, she would let me know and often take care of it without being asked. Her time management is exceptional, and I never once had to worry about whether my kids would be picked up or dropped off on time. While I was at work, I completely trusted that everything was taken care of. She also built a wonderful relationship with my kids. They loved talking to her, and my 5-year-old even discovered his love for 1990s Italian music during their daily rides together! Those little moments meant a lot to us. Her commitment to her work is something I'll always remember. She was consistently punctual, reliable, and always adjusted her schedule so our kids' routines were never affected. Whenever she needed time off, she gave plenty of advance notice, which made planning so much easier. We all miss her—especially my kids—and so do I while I search for someone to fill her shoes. I wholeheartedly recommend Mrs. Isabella to any family looking for someone who is dependable, caring, proactive, and truly invested in helping a household run smoothly. Any family would be lucky to have her.
