Hello! My name is Izzy, I'm a 23-year-old collage student at Kent State pursing a degree in special education. I'm passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering growth and development. I have three years of childcare experience at the Akron YMCA and 5+ years of experience working with children. I'm hoping to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family! I'm patient, creative and passionate about my work in childcare. Clear communication is key, so I keep parents regularly updated on their child's day, with whatever method works best for you. My approach to childcare prioritizes safety first, and fun second. With children I enjoy playing outdoors, engaging in games and puzzles, or supporting development through educational games. I have First Aid and CPR training. I'm also more than happy to assist with tasks like cooking meals, carpooling, light housekeeping, and whatever else I can to support your family!
