I have been working with individuals with disabilities since first grade. I have worked and volunteered with individuals with various disabilities. I worked as a camp counselor this past summer at Camp Stand By Me this past summer which is a camp for the disabled. I was responsible for toileting, showering, dressing, feeding, and assisting in activities. I love working with these individuals and really do believe they are special, my life has been more blessed in this field than anything else. I am currently pursuing a degree in special education.
