About Isabela

Hi parents! I'm Isabela, a mathematics educator with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and three years of classroom teaching experience working with middle and high school students. I currently serve as a math tutor for West Hartford Public Schools, and I specialize in making math accessible, approachable, and confidence-building for students across all learning styles. My approach focuses on breaking down complex mathematical concepts into clear, step-by-step ideas while actively listening to understand how each student learns best. Whether your child needs help catching up on foundational skills, boosting their grades, or mastering challenging topics like algebra and geometry, I provide patient, structured, and encouraging support. I am available for in-person tutoring at your home, a community space, or online!
