About Irma

Hi there! My name is Irma! Since I was around 12 years old, I've always adored working with children. Since I've grown older, I've learned more and more about childcare services. This also includes learning about child therapy/counseling. As of right now, I am dedicating my studies at American River College to learning about psychology, mainly focusing on child psychology. I have about 2 years of professional experience but more than 5 years of family experience working with children between the ages of 3 months and 12 years old. I love playing board games, video games, and imaginary games with children while also taking part in arts and crafts. In my own free time, I love cleaning and organizing which is not very common but I find joy in it. When it comes to child care, I try to be as understanding as possible, and creating a safe space for children to become themselves. I love incorporating creativity, imagination, and energy into their days.
