About Iris

Hello! My name is Iris, and caring for children has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I have been caring for children since I was 10 years old, beginning with babysitting for family members, neighbors, church families, and family friends. Over the years, that experience grew into a lifelong passion for helping children learn, grow, and feel safe, loved, and encouraged. For more than 10 years, I served in children's ministry, teaching and mentoring children from preschool through teenagers. I planned age-appropriate lessons and activities, partnered with parents, coordinated volunteers, and helped create safe, welcoming environments where children could grow emotionally, socially, spiritually, and personally. I also bring more than 20 years of professional healthcare experience caring for patients from all walks of life, strengthening my ability to communicate with compassion, remain calm under pressure, and build trusting relationships with families.
