Hello! I am Iris. I'm 21 and currently studying for my degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have been a nanny for 5 and a half years and babysitting for upwards of 9 years. Outside of working for private families, I also worked in a nursery for 2 years. I have worked with kiddos as young as 3 months to as old as 12 years old. I am trained in First Aid and CPR for infants, children, and adults as well as swim safety. I'm very comfortable around pets and always happy to help with homework! I also have experience in housekeeping, meal prep, driving kids, and homeschooling both preschool and Elementary students. I have reliable transportation and am fluent in ASL. I have recently moved back to Anchorage and am available during weekends and evenings!

Iris is an incredible human being. She was our nanny to my two daughters for a year, and brought warmth and zen into our home. Iris nurtured my 3-4 year old during some tough transitions, patiently being in the moment with her and helping her develop the vocabulary to communicate her emotions. Iris is truly passionate about child development and shared tips with us (mom + dad). She is mature and incredibly self-aware. She proactively checks in with parents to align on approaches she is using to address challenges. She also enjoyed teaching my girls practical skills, like solving puzzles and learning left from right. She spends lots of time outdoors with kids and involving them in cooking. I truly feel she is a gem, one-of-a-kind, and we wish we could have brought her with us when we moved out of town. You will be lucky to have her in your life!
