I am a mother of 4 and I have always had a love for helping those that need it. I was a home health aid and used to work for a company that helps those with developmental disabilities achieve independence and promote choice. With this I have had to play many roles. I aide with transportation, hygiene, cooking, shopping, provide companionship, goal setting, tutoring and many other things. I have learned that no matter how similar the diagnosis, individuals are all very different and getting to know who you are working with is very important to providing the best care.
