About Iris

I have had a passion for infant and toddler care for as long as I can remember, and I find deep fulfillment in making a positive impact on young children's lives. As a local Ithacan with five years of experience caring for children ages 4mos-5yrs, I offer a patient, fun, and creative approach to every day. I have CPR and First Aid certifications to ensure a safe environment. I love to spend days indoors or outdoors learning how to sit up, walk, balance blocks, say new words, swim, dance, and read. I find it integral to engage young children in imaginative and hands on activities. I am also happy to assist with light housekeeping and meal prepping. I will follow your lead regarding household rules and adapt my communication to your preferred method, whether that is a text update, a chat at pickup, or both. I look forward to supporting your infant/toddler in becoming a kind, strong, and capable child.
