Hi, I'm Iris! I'm a 31-year-old artist and future art therapist based in Fort Greene. I have a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and am currently pursuing graduate studies in Art Therapy. I was born and raised in Honolulu, HI and have been living in NYC for almost 8 years! Working with children has always felt like a calling. I'm passionate about creating safe, nurturing spaces where kids feel heard, empowered, and free to express themselves. I believe structure and consistency are key in helping kids build self confidence and life skills. I love engaging in creative, screen-free play (storytelling, art projects, imaginative play) and spending time outdoors.
