About Iris

As a childcare provider, my passion lies in positively impacting children's lives and supporting families. With three years of experience, I'm skilled at caring for children aged 1 to 11. My friendly and patient nature, coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to connect with children on a meaningful level. I believe in open communication with parents and regularly provide verbal updates at pickup, while also respecting their preferred communication method. While I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, I generally refrain from disciplining children. Instead, I focus on fostering a positive and nurturing environment. My playtime with children often involves board games, puzzles, and outdoor activities that encourage imagination and magical thinking. I'm also comfortable supervising children during swimming activities. I have completed coursework in early child development, which complements my natural caregiving abilities.
