About Irina

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With five years of experience, I hold a graduate degree and maintain certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). I believe that every child learns differently, so I actively observe how you interact with new material to tailor my visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to your needs. When a topic feels difficult, I break complex problems into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you motivated. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we are always working toward your goals. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks.
