About Irene

For over five years, Irene P was employed by my elderly mother, Jeanne C., to help care for herself and her husband. After my mom passed, Irene continued to care for mom’s husband. Irene has been a loyal and wise asset to our family. Irene is cheerful and intelligent, very reliable and on time. Irene is sensible, hard working and willing to please. As my mother was gradually confined to bed, due to stroke, and needing increasingly complex, total care, Irene adapted well to the increasing care demands. Irene made it easy for my mother to rise to meet her daily challenges: bathing, toileting, bed changing, personal care, dressing and feeding. Irene has been compassionate and patient in helping my mother maintain her personal comfort. Irene is watchful to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness for the patient and in the environment, including the bathroom and kitchen areas of the home. Irene’s daily care responsibilities included maintaining clean laundry and daily meal preparation. Occasionally, Irene was needed to meet me at hospital or coordinate care with aides on other shifts. I have always found her prepared to meet the changing needs of our evolving situation. Irene's English language is excellent. She generally works quietly, making pleasant small talk. Yet, she can easily be open and friendly when invited. -- Irene C.
