About Irene

Hello! My name is Irene, and I am the youngest child of 8! Which means I'm used to big families and that I've been an auntie for my whole life! From the time I was 8 years old I've been caring for my nieces and nephews and have really grown to love being the auntie they can go to for advice and to have fun! I am most comfortable caring for children ages 4 mo- 7 yrs, since this past summer I was caring for my niece (4 months) my nephew (2 yrs) and my other niece (6yrs), but I also have some experience caring for older children (12 yrs) I have a significant background in art and have taught my 6 yr old niece some informal art lessons! I am also quite athletic and have shown my nieces and nephews a variety of sports such as: tennis, badminton, skateboarding and basketball Other than than I'm very friendly and love working with children! If I were to be hired I'd ensure that your child(ren) feels safe and close enough with me to ask for help or advice, and to make them feel heard
