About Irene

I've been working with Children for close to 10 years (5 as an adult). I started professional babysitting in highschool after gaining experience watching my special needs cousin. I also took several early childhood classes in highschool (I hope to start an early childhood degree in the fall). I've worked at a Montessori Preschool for several months, unfortunately due to budget cuts I got layed off. The knowledge I gained from that experience has helped me greatly in my current position teaching financial literacy to ages 10-13. I've had my current job for almost two years. As for the fun stuff, I love art! I'm a fan of making art with reused materials. I grew up with lotsss of pets, and I now currently help maintain a herd of 27 goats. Needless to say, I'd be happy to watch your furry ones along with the kiddos!
