About Iram

I'm a Ph. D. physicist and former Process Engineer at Intel, now fully dedicated to tutoring because I love helping students master challenging math concepts. I work with high school and early-college students, focusing on Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and test prep for the SAT, ACT, and GRE. I also work with advanced middle school students who are preparing early for the SAT or ACT. As a parent of a high schooler in advanced math, I understand firsthand the challenges and goals students and families face. My approach begins with a brief diagnostic and a review of classwork to identify gaps. I then create a personalized plan with clear goals and targeted practice, using real-world examples to make math concepts click. I emphasize strong problem-solving habits that build confidence and lasting understanding, and I keep students and parents informed at every step. My sessions are encouraging, efficient, and results-focused.
