I have always held the belief that children aren't given the credit that they are due. They are so intelligent and can take in so much information! I love exploring that part with my 4-year-old daughter. Teaching her as much as I can at home. Other than the experience of caring for my 13-month-old and 4 yr old, I have watched multiple family members of ages ranging from six months to 15 years old. I have over six years of teaching Sunday school for ages ranging from 2 years old to 11 years old.
