Ingrid is a kind and skilled caretaker. My husband suffered from advanced Alzheimer's and Ingrid was an invaluable individual to help us manage the very tough times. My husband loved her and was glad to see her each time she arrived to stay with him. Ingrid has magic powers and was able to get my husband to the shower and even to brush his teeth. He became very difficult in the last few months, and Ingrid still cared deeply and used her skills to move him, shower him, and convince him to stand up as long as possible. In the last moments she bathed him when he was not able to get out of bed any longer even though he was a very heavy and tall man. Ingrid taught me that it is not about the size and strength of the caretaker, but the skill and knowledge of the caretaker. Don't let her size fool you. Ingrid is a small woman with large skills and an even larger heart. She does this work because she cares. There are few out there like her and we hired several other individuals until we finally found the "right" person when we met Ingrid. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is as a person and a caregiver. She even stayed at the hospital at night with my husband so I could go home and get some rest. No matter what we needed, she was there.
