Nurturing young minds is a true passion of mine, sparked by early babysitting experiences. As a retired RN I bring over 30 years experience in pediatric and neonatal nursing. I moved to Chapel Hill when my first grandson was 14 months to help with childcare. About a year later, a second child came along. I would prefer to work with little ones aged 0-3. My approach is patient, creative, and friendly. I enjoy engaging children with outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I worked for about 1. 5 years at the Nest at Kidzu leading STEAM activities for 0-3-year-olds. I am happy to follow your lead on household rules and prefer to communicate verbally at pickup, while remaining flexible to your preferred method. I am also certified in CPR Training. I am comfortable caring for one or two children at a time and am happy to help with crafts. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your child's growth and well-being, creating a fun and supportive environment.
