About Indigo

Kind, friendly, and empathetic with a big heart and a love for learning/teaching I like working with kids because they are the most pure of heart and intelligent humans and so much fun to talk to. The little things are truly the big things when you are a kid! My love for kids began in childhood, when I grew up as the older sister and helping hand of my autistic brother, who has a speech impediment. My mother worked for 25+ yrs so I naturally fell into the same field of work, as a childcare aide for preschoolers throughout my college years. In 2022, I led as a Girl Scout Troop leader for girls from 4-12 yrs of age, an experience that left a forever impression on my heart. In 2024, I coached for Girls on the Run in an elementary school, working with 21 young girls with self-esteem skills to support their development. I love to spend time outside and will happily encourage the kids to come outside to play, go for walks, and get some sunshine away from phones!
