Hi! I'm India, a highly empathetic caregiver. As a mom of two myself, I understand that finding the right person to protect and love your child is everything. My care philosophy is built on professional standards: I am a Licensed Foster Parent (licensed to foster, adopt, and provide respite through the City). This means I bring a high level of training in child development, behavior management, and safety protocol into every interaction. My professional background includes working as a Family Advocate and within Virginia's Department of Social Services (VDSS), giving me expertise in high-stakes case management and regulatory compliance. I've been caring for children since I was a teenager (14-15) and hold degrees in Social Work and Human Services. I am flexible and can provide care in my home (a safe, engaging environment) or come to yours. My two children would happily accompany me in either setting.
