I am a retired teacher and I would describe my personality as patient, compassionate and kind. I like working with people one on one in a safe, relaxed environment. In my spare time, I like to garden, walk and play with my pets. I also love to read and my passion is art. One thing you should know about me is that I am trustworthy and believe in guarding people's privacy. I have a graduate degree in Education/Special Education specializing in Emotional/Behavioral Disorders. I have taught art in all K-12 levels. I have also conducted group art therapy for children and adolescents and their parents in a psychiatric hospital. I get along well with seniors and enjoy being with them. I have helped with stroke patients, Parkinson's patients and various post-surgery recuperations.
