About Imogen

Hi, I'm Imogen! I'm an East Bay Area local. I attended Prospect Sierra here then went to where I majored in psychology including childhood and adolescent development studies and education. I worked as a tutor through programs in all three of these schools. Now I'm back in The Bay and looking to continue my work in child care and education. I have experience with tutoring ages 4-16 including substantial experience with disabled (primarily autistic and ADHD) kids and teens. One thing to know about me is that I don't attach any moral value to education. Every member of my family (myself included) is learning disabled and has struggled in school in some capacity and I'm intensely aware of the impact it can have on a child to make them feel like they are somehow wrong or bad for struggling to understand something. Learning looks different for everyone and I want to be a resource for any student regardless of where we're starting out together!
