I have been caring for children from ages 2 months to 18 years for the past 13 years. I am also a mother of a 15-month-old child. I have a deep love and appreciation for children. I care deeply for their growth and development. My roles in child care have been; a high school English tutor, an assistant teacher in a day care center, a live in nanny, an occasional babysitter, an after school leader, and a summer camp counselor. I always provide a safe, loving, and intellectually stimulated environment for children in my care. I am always mindful of any medical concerns or food allergies. I strictly adhere to any parental instructions to insure the children receive continuity of care. Imani was a live in nanny for my family of 3 for 4 years. She cared for my son from the age of 2 months to 4 years old. Imani was always a delight to be around and quickly became apart of family. Not only did she give my son optimal care, she also was very professional and always punctual. Her responsibilities to the house were cooking, cleaning, care for my son, and she was also responsible for some administrative work for our family business.
