About Imani

Hi! I'm Imani, a Baltimore City Public Schools teacher with about 9 years of experience working with kids from Pre-K through 12th grade. I currently teach dance and direct an after-school dance program, so I'm very comfortable managing groups of kids, keeping things structured, and making sure everyone's having fun and staying safe. I'm patient, energetic, and genuinely enjoy being around kids of all ages from little ones who need help with basics to older kids who just want someone to hang out with and listen to them. I'm reliable, communicative with parents, and treat every child with care and respect. Looking to pick up babysitting on the side; happy to help with homework, keep kids active and engaged, or just provide a fun, safe, structured evening while you're out.
