About Imani

I am a positive and energetic person whose lives to help children reach their full potential, I have worked in childcare for about 4 years now and I have loved every minute of it! I currently work at a daycare center, and I am seeking full time or part time employment in replacement of that. I'm looking for about 25 to 36 hours each week and I can be flexible with the days. one thing that I've learned from working in day cares is that you want to be looked at as a teacher and not just a babysitter, so I pride myself in making sure that children are not only in a fun and loving environment but a stimulating one as well that helps them grow into their best selves! Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and absolutely love teaching children how to read and write. Another thing I enjoy as well doing with children are art and crafts which is always a fun way to learn and try new things. Aside from that I am always willing to lend a helping hand for meal prep, laundry, etc.
