About Imani

Hello, I'm 21 years old, Virgo. 2013 I joined a program called Early Childhood Education. Through this, I received a Certificate of Arizona Skill Standards in ECE through the Arizona Department of Education, Career and Technical Education; in partnership with UofA. This program taught me how to care for and teach children ages 0-5. I accumulated more than 390 hours as a student teacher working in the CUSD's childcare program. 2016 I interned in a 4th grade classroom at Hancock Elementary School. I also teacher assisted for a summer school program at Arredondo Elementary School for 3 years. I then worked at Great Start Preschool, as a full time Pre-School teacher in the 2 and 4 years old class rooms. Within this job I gained a lot of skills, but I learned how to create lesson plans and to construct proper routine when it comes to caring for children. In my time at great Start, I worked part time and the "after schoolers" (aged 6-12) class rooms as well.
