About Imani

My name is Imani I am 26 years old . I grew up in Washington, DC. I have 5 younger siblings. Growing up I was very responsible for my siblings which sparked my interest in childcare. I have been involved in professional childcare for about 7 years. Starting with babysitting for the community and volunteering as a teachers aid for my younger brother's classes. I have experience with children from infancy to 15 years of age. Caring for these children included tasks such as (but not limited to): homework help, providing meals, creating daily plans/task, entertainment, taking care of hygienic needs, and keeping the children on schedules provided by their parents and/or guardians. I enjoy physical activities and consider myself to be a pretty energetic person. Helping develop children's minds by enhancing their creative focus is a passion of mine. I am currently in the process of renewing my CPR certification. I am also comfortable helping with light housekeeping and other task.
