About Ilona
While I have not professionally done elderly care, I have taken care of elderly adults with aphasia, dementia, and diabetes due to friends and family needing help. My cousin runs all of the dementia care houses in Hungary, and I have helped her with patients when I was there. My experience is mainly in completing household tasks and meal preparation while engaging the patient in conversation and keeping them company. I have also been in charge of engaging dementia patients in tasks in order to help keep them occupied as their primary caretaker is out.
