About Ilea

I'd describe my personality as patient, sensitive, creative, playful. I like working with kids because they are high vibrational and always make my day happier. It is fulfilling, engaging work. I'm looking for a job that supports authenticity and connection. Strong communication is important. I started working with kids when I was in college working at a Reggio Emilia inspired child care center. This school shaped my child care philosophy, encouraging us to explore what it means to deeply respect the whole child and how to scaffold experiences that support independence, critical thinking and creativity for small children. In my spare time, I like to make ceramics and oil paint. I love to go camping and being outside. My skills include attunement, developing strong attachments, emotional regulation, organization, cooking, and cleaning.
