About Ilanis

Hi! My name is Ilanis, and I have over 5 years of experience working with children through the New York City Department of Education. I've worked with children ranging from Pre-K through high school, including children with special needs such as autism and Down syndrome, as well as students in general education classrooms. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, patient, dependable, and passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. I understand that every child is unique, and I enjoy building positive relationships while helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Whether it's assisting with homework, engaging in creative activities, preparing simple meals, maintaining routines, or simply being a reliable and caring presence, I always strive to provide the best care possible.
