About Ilana

Caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life since my teenage years, when I began babysitting. I've worked with kids of all ages--from newborns to pre-teens--and in this chapter between full-time roles, I'm excited to focus on nannying. Alongside my childcare experience, I bring a background in education, community work, program management, and medical/therapeutic care. I hold a B. A. in Psychology from Brandeis University, have completed Early Childhood Development and language teaching coursework, and am certified in First Aid and CPR. Patient, creative, and responsible, I love engaging kids through outdoor play, arts and crafts, storytelling, and educational games. I have tutored middle school students for the past decade. Fluent in English and Hebrew, I follow parents' lead on routines and communication. I can care for up to four children and assist with cooking (I've been told I'm great!), light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision.
