About Ilana

Working with children has been a lifelong passion of mine, and getting to work with children is always an honor for me. I am a college student working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also work in the B After-School Program, leading a group of 20+ children grades K-5 in enriching time management, academic, and social skills. I would describe my approach as firm, yet fair. I believe children benefit greatly from consistency, and appreciate clear boundaries. I love creating activities that allow kids to express their creativity or get their energy out in a positive way. Outside of professional experience, I am an older sister and cousin, which can be some of the best experience in childcare. I hope I can make a positive impact in the lives of the kids I work with, and I have a great deal of pride in working with them.
