About Ilah

Hi all, I'm Ilah! I currently work as a legal assistant at a family defense practice in Brooklyn and am based on the Upper West side. Prior to this year, I worked as a bilingual elementary teacher in Spain. Childcare has always been a big passion of mine. Throughout the past 10 years, I have done almost every caretaking job under the sun. Some notable ones have included working with 2-month-old triplets, supporting a young girl with nonverbal cerebral palsy, tutoring a middle schooler with Down Syndrome, camp counseling for children with varying disabilities, and acting as a bilingual teacher for 7 full-sized classrooms of children ranging in age from 7-12. I'm a passionate, empathetic, patient caregiver and have loved every connection I've made with the lovely children and families I've worked with!
