About Ila

Hi! My name is Ila, and I'm a student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Journalism. I'm CPR-certified and prioritize creating a safe and welcoming environment, while still making sure kids have an enjoyable experience! I especially enjoy working with older kids and pre-teens. I'm great at building genuine connections, whether that's helping with homework, keeping them engaged in activities, or just being someone they feel relaxed around. I understand the balance between being a mentor and giving kids space to be themselves. I have experience in people-focused roles, which has made me reliable and adaptable. I'm someone parents can trust to communicate clearly and put my best foot forward. I'm also happy to help with schoolwork, transportation, and light household tasks. I'll be based in Los Angeles this summer (May through early August) and would love to support a family during that time!
