I'm an empty-nest mother of a college senior, that has entered the parent-friend phase of parenting. My husband and I enjoyed every phase of parenting, but especially from infant - 10yrs, the time of instilling the intellectual and social building blocks that bolstered my daughter's academic and personal success thus far. Most of my childcare & senior care experience is first-hand as a parent, and as a daughter that provided hands-on care of my mother after a stroke and throughout her time in hospice. I'm looking for intermittent care opportunities for extra income. I'm available for tutoring and/or sitting that includes homework review for students through 12th grade, with special emphasis on language arts, English and ACT/SAT test prep. I'm available for jobs that may include light meal-prep, errands and light housekeeping; however, a premium rate will apply.
