Ida provided overnight care for my second child for 16 weeks, and she was absolutely amazing. She's extremely professional, always arriving early, and very knowledgeable about newborns. My son had severe reflux and gas, and Ida was exceptional at handling him overnight and helping to relieve his discomfort. I highly recommend Ida for any type of child care; she is a very experienced caregiver.

Ida was a fantastic support to our family. She helped us as a night nanny from night 1 home from the hospital. Ida provided night nurse service for my son for three months. She covered about half the nights, and her team covered the other nights. All of them were very skilled and caring. Not only did this allow me to sleep, but she was also an invaluable resource for questions about newborn children. This would have been much harder for me without her help. If I have another child, I will absolutely hire her again.

We are grateful for Ida’s overnight help with our newborn. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She always showed up on time and was extremely communicative with us. She provided thorough notes after a shift, promptly answered any questions we had, and proactively made helpful suggestions. She cleaned bottle and pump parts and tidied items in the baby’s room as well. Idaluz is a blessing for our family! She started working with us overnight when our son was two weeks old. She is a natural with newborns and we always feel very comfortable and know our son is safe and happy when she is with him. She is very knowledgeable and attentive and gives us great tips and guidance as we are first time parents. I couldn’t imagine going through the first month without her and highly recommend her to family and friends.

Ida watched our daughter so my wife and I could have a long overdue date night. From the second Ida walked in our daughter was smiling ear to ear! This was our first night away from our almost 7 month old baby and Ida made us feel so comfortable. Ida played with our daughter and read lots of books to her (in English and Spanish, which we love!) She followed our instructions for bedtime routine to a tee and made sure our daughter had a good night. We could not recommend Ida more and can't wait for her to babysit for us again soon!

We hired Ida to watch our two boys. She was very responsive leading all the way up to the day she babysit for them. She ensured she knew the boys' bedtime routine and play habits prior to coming. As soon as she arrived she immediately engaged with the children and played with them in their room like she had been babysitting them for years! Ida watched our 7-month-old son for one week. She did SUCH a great job!!! She was very caring and clearly very experienced in taking care of babies. She was very intentional about developmental activities. Our son enjoyed himself and developed very nicely under Ida's care. Additionally, Ida was very punctual and extremely professional. Ida is the real deal! She is incredibly experienced with babies of all ages and took such great care of our ten month old. Nothing phases her and she is warm and loving. She was punctual, flexible, and so easy to work with. We felt so comfortable having her babysit our daughter and will absolutely continue to rehire. Would highly recommend.

Ida cared for our daughter from 4 months to 16 months and filled every day with warmth, love and laughter. She is Colombian and taught our toddler Spanish, but speaks fluent English and has 20+ years' experience as a nanny. In just under a year, Ida has helped us establish regular nap schedules, introduced solids, and took her to classes. Even in the winter, Ida kept our daughter active, going on an adventure every day to the library, playdates, classes and playground when the weather was nice. We never felt like we were sacrificing the social benefits of daycare because she is well connected to other South End nannies and arranges playdates almost every day. Ida is warm, nurturing, and her love for young children always shines through. Ida is reliable, hard-working, and flexible. Ida is COVID conscious and fully vaccinated. Ida also is very dependable and is a great communicator. She is flexible with her time (willing to come early and/or stay late), and adapts well to different parenting styles. She also knows when to weigh in with her experience (we were first time parents and very much appreciated her depth of knowledge). Ida brings a warm, loving calmness to the day and truly loves her time with children. I cannot recommend Ida enough!

We highly recommend Ida! Ida helped us take care of our son over the weekend. She is very kind, patient, and loving from the minute you meet her. Ida was really patient with our son as he had a bad start to the day the first time we met Ida. He was crying and she immediately took him and soothed him until he stopped crying. Once he stopped crying he immediately took to Ida and she sang and played songs with him and he absolutely loved it. Highly recommend Ida!

Idaluz is so kind, loving, and fun!  We hired Idaluz to stay with our son when we went out to dinner and she was punctual, caring, and kept our son entertained.  We love that she speaks Spanish as my son's preferred language is Spanish, and we will DEFINITELY hire her again!

We were in a need for a babysitter on a short notice, and Ida made it as simple as possible to get a babysitter. Her calendar clearly showed availability and communication was fast and easy. She arrived a little early and was very flexible with the schedule. We are very satisfied and would definitely hire Ida again!

Ida was excellent with our daughter P (18 months old). She was punctual, personable and by the end of the day P didn't want her to leave. I would definitely recommend Ida for any care you need.

We hired Ida for two days to look after our 15-month old son, who got sick and could not attend daycare. Ida communicated promptly via the platform, so it was very easy and fast to discuss the details. She is very punctual, caring, and kind. My son is very active and energetic, but Ida was able to find an approach to him very quickly and kept him busy and entertained. I recommend Ida to other families.

Ida was the first non-family babysitter we left my oldest (now 7, 4 months at the time) with and a LIFESAVER during the witching hour with my youngest (now 4, 6-8 weeks at the time). She came over for 1-2 hours a few evenings a week while I was solo with both kids and took care of the baby while I made dinner and got some Mama + big kid time in. Her calm, warm energy and ability to patiently but determinedly help ANY baby go from losing it to relaxed and smiling are amazing! It gave me so much peace of mind to know that my daughter was in good hands while I got a break from newborn duty...and made me smile to hear Ida humming and singing to and walking with her while she went from all-out yelling to sleeping in her crib. I highly recommend her!

Ida was our nanny from September 2016 to July 2021.  When she started our son was 6 months old and she cared for our daughter from the day she came home from the hospital.  We were so fortunate to have found Ida and only parted ways with her because our family moved out of state.  Ida was a wonderful caregiver both when our kids were infants and as they grew into toddlers.  She was a baby whisperer when our son was colicky and got both kids on sleeping and eating schedules.  As they grew, she planned play dates, took them to classes, and shuttled them to/from preschool.  Ida is reliable, trustworthy, and hard working.  The house was always neater when Ida left than when she arrived and she's a fantastic cook.  Most importantly, Ida is warm, caring, and genuinely loves taking care of babies and young children.  Our kids adore her and lit up every morning when she arrived. I would be happy to talk to anyone considering hiring Ida for a nanny or babysitting position.  We love her!
