About ian

My name is Ian and I have been working with kids and young adults for over four years! My main experience comes in the summer camp space where I have lead boys on 5-10 day backcountry canoe trips. I have also babysat for family friends. Parenting is a lot of work and I'm here to help make it a little easier. Kind, thoughtful, hardworking I think kids provide great insight into our own lives. I always come away from working with kids with a better understanding of the world. I'm hopping to find a role where I can help a family who need a break. I've been working with kids for several years. First as a lifeguard and later as a camp counselor and swim instructor. In my spare time, I like to write and play with my dog who is a tripod! Safety is my number one! Additionally I think I'm really good at foster fun and play. I am also known as a very kind person who is good at conflict resolution. Finally I am a twin, so I would love to work with a set of twins.
