About Hunter

My goal in tutoring is to show students how to learn the material for themselves and feel good about learning new skills as they go. I have taught high school math and science for 5 years. I have also worked in a specialized study skills classroom serving students with learning differences for 2 years. I have taught Physics, Chemistry, Geometry and Earth and Space Science, but I feel very comfortable helping students with any subject. I also feel comfortable providing executive functioning support. I also have a masters in Educational Psychology and I am and LPC-Associate so I can provide private therapy. I have also been a high school counselor for 4 years so I know a lot about college and career guidance and adolescent stressors.
