About Hunter

Hi there! I'm Hunter, and I've always loved working with kids. I hold a Master's degree in Education and spent several years as a school counselor, where I supported students of all ages with both academic and emotional development. My background means I bring a lot of patience, empathy, and structure to childcare-whether that's helping with homework, creating fun and engaging activities, or simply being a fun and caring presence. I believe in meeting kids where they are, fostering creativity, and making them feel safe, seen, and supported. Outside of my educational & proffesional back ground I love yoga, reading, surfing, swimming in the ocean & hanging out with friends, my husband & our two adorable kittens! At this time, I am looking for more occasional work than full time but depending on the schedule I could be open to a more consistent schedule. Looking forward to hearing from you!
