Hello! I am Huikun. I go by Kara as well. I love working with kids and gaining my experience with child education and child care. I am also a mom of a baby boy. I used to work full time in accounting for several years in Dallas Texas and moved to Miami in summer 2020. I enjoy the mild climate and sunny beach here. My experience with children: I used to be a foreign language (Chinese) teacher at a Sunday after school for two semesters in 2016. From 2019 I worked part time for 7 months as a teacher assistant in an after school helping grading homework, assist homework and keeping with classroom schedule. In 2020 I helped tutoring a kindergartner with virtual learning when their school move online with her homework completion and classroom engagement. Before this pandemic I volunteered to be a child care service in church on Sunday. In 2021, I tutored Chinese to a 7-year-old boy for about 6 months and helped math and reading homework for a 11-year-old boy for about 5 months.
