About Hosheana

I started tutoring when I began teaching 7 years ago. In my spare time, I like to read, play video games, and binge watch shows. Recently, I have started gardening and painting. I am growing sweet potatoes, and I am very proud of them so far. One thing you should know about me is that I love learning. I get excited about exploring new topics and learning new things from my students. My skills include helping students to understand different math concepts, especially some of the new strategies that have been introduced with the common core standards. I am able to support struggling readers with different resources that I have found during my years in the classroom. I am also great at encouraging learners.
