About Hortencia

Hortencia has been an incredible support to our family. She is reliable, thoughtful, and flexible. She has cared for our 4-year-old and 1.5 year old with warmth, patience, and consistency, quickly acclimating to their individual needs and routines. She has been wonderfully adaptable in stepping into our roles as parents when we were not available, providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for our children. She is an active caregiver who loves being outdoors with the kids and our dogs, whether going to the park, playing in the backyard, or encouraging them to explore and enjoy nature. When our 4-year-old began school, she seamlessly transitioned from being home with both children daily to managing school readiness and drop-off with absolute punctuality, never once being late. During school hours, she devoted her attention to our younger child, ensuring he received special one-on-one time and a balance of play and care. This reliability gave me peace of mind every morning, knowing my children were in capable hands as I left for work.
